The
Texas Pastel Society was formed in January 2008 to raise awareness of
soft pastel art and provide group support for pastel artists in the
south Texas area. Members meet several times a year to build on their
pastel painting skills through demos, paint-outs, gallery/museum
tours, local exhibitions, workshops, all-member shows, and juried
competitions.
Requirements
for membership are:
Annual Dues(Jan 1-Dec. 31): $30 for individuals
no younger than 15, and volunteer on a committee when needed.
