By-Law Amendment
Article 7, Sec 2 reads : Executive Board officers will serve for a two year term and may be re-elected for another two year term.
Proposed By-Law change to Article 7 Sec. 2: Executive Board officers will serve for a two year term and may be re-elected for another two year term with an option to be elected twice more for an additional two year terms.
Article 12 reads:
Members will be notified of a vote for a by-law change 30 days in advance. Any By-Law changes are voted on by the general membership present at a meeting.
Article 10 reads: Elections by members only will be by written ballot at the November general meeting.
After a brief meeting, the members enjoyed refreshments and learned how each artist got started in the arts. A very enjoyable evening. The Tobin Library staff and library visitors were also invited to join us for refreshments. They happily accepted the invite telling us how much they were enjoying the artwork.
NOTE! Our November meeting will NOT be on first Tuesday. It will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19th, 10 -12noon at the Tobin Library. Regina Calton Burchett will do a Skies and Clouds demo for us. Regina received a 2nd Place in Landscape for "Kerrville Clouds" at our Regional Juried Exhibition.
